You live in a cold world. The captain of your squad expects great things of you... or he gave up on you. You're not sure at times. But you carry a secret. The old hag gave you the blood to drink & now you control the swarm! With this power you can slay the scum of this rotten city and show the captain that he can count on you.

Rules

Use the bat-swarm to:

• stun enemies
  • big guy needs your swarm to have a size of at least 4! (Sorry, we lacked the time to implement visuals for that)
• push the protagonist into the enemies to attack

You win if you kill all enemies in this demo

• when they get close to the protagonist, they MIGHT attack, which will costs you a bat of your swarm.

You lose when you're out of bats

Controls

Use the Mouse-motion to move around the swarm. A Touch-Screen should also work

The Future

Now that I have time, I will likely continue developing alone. Besides from optimizing the graphics (which will likely stay 16x16px) and animation, I plan to add:

• enemies show their "willpower", when they have some. you will need more bats for them
• general optimization    
  • bugfixing of smaller & rarer issues
  • optimizing "game-feel" by fine-tuning speeds, physics & behaviours
  • realizing of community ideas
• enemies that shoot projectiles
  • the ability for the bat-swarm to deflect those projectiles
• enemies with special-abilities that will make things more crunchy
• Bosses
• leveldesign & moving through levels/rooms/dungeons
• adding the complete story (you played the last part of chapter III)
• thinking of more crazy and fun mechanics to show you this dystopic world
• upload this stuff to the google-playstore
